Here, designers, goldsmiths, gemsetters, polishers, and gemlab experts work side by side in dedicated spaces to bring the unique, timeless jewellery pieces to life. More than just a place of creation, the ateliers weave together the exquisite artistry behind each jewellery piece with the heritage of the Bucherer family in an elegantly designed space.
Creating in an Inspiring Environment
Spanning nearly 800 m2 with large window fronts and skylights, the new ateliers offer an exclusive inside look into where state-of-the-art technologies meet masterful jewellery craftsmanship, which has been continuously passed down and refined since Bucherer's founding in 1888. The entire space is divided into showrooms that reflect the different areas of expertise of the Maison. Gemlab experts work alongside the design team, using innovative technologies to achieve the remarkable craftsmanship of each design. In the atelier areas of the goldsmiths, gemsetters, and polishers, solid wooden workbenches, anvils, and countless tools offer a fascinating look into each step of the jewellery making process — from design to production and polishing. These spaces exude a calm atmosphere ideal for creating works of the highest precision and care.

Guests at the ateliers will observe first-hand the processes and techniques involved in creating the masterpieces. Maison's journey begins with a concept, either from our in-house designers or inspired by a customer's vision. From traditional pencil and watercolor sketches to advanced computer-aided design technologies, our design process blends artistic creativity with precision. Once a model of the design is constructed, diamond and gemstone experts from our gemlab source the finest diamonds and rare gemstones, adhering to the highest ethical standards. Master goldsmiths then transform the design into a physical piece using a combination of traditional tools and cutting-edge technologies. As the piece takes shape, each gemstone is meticulously set by hand, a process that demands both extensive knowledge and exceptional precision. In the final stage of polishing, the piece is perfected to achieve its ultimate radiant and refined brilliance.Â

The ateliers, now nearly double their original size after extensive renovation, embody a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. To elevate the visitor experience, a special suite was integrated within the ateliers to offer an inspiring and intimate view into the surrounding jewellery workshops. Featuring elegant terrazzo flooring, wood furnishings, and a serene, ambiance, the suite’s interiors have been carefully curated to evoke a sense of comfort and ease. Every detail, from the color palette to the lighting, has been thoughtfully selected to create a warm and immersive creative environment. Bucherer Fine Jewellery opens its ateliers on an exclusive basis, allowing guests to enjoy an inside look into the heart of its craftsmanship and innovations.
