A. Lange & Söhne: Lange 1A
“The Lange One from 1997 is part of a limited re-edition of just 100 pieces worldwide. Its rarity is one part of the appeal, but what really stands out is the attention to detail,” Laurent notes. “The guilloché dial is beautifully finished, and the asymmetric layout remains as balanced and readable as ever. Turn the watch over, and the balance-wheel bridge reveals hand-engraved guilloché unique to each piece. It’s not merely decorative, it serves as the personal signature of the watchmaker behind it, a quiet reminder of Lange’s enduring dedication to tradition.”

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Reverso Quantième Perpetual
“This Reverso is one of the last highly complicated models produced before the line was reimagined. The 26 x 42 mm rose gold case feels well-proportioned and wears comfortably,” he notes. “What really defines this model is the dual-face display. On one side, you get hours, minutes, small seconds, a day-and-night indicator, and a leap-year display. Flip it over, and the case reveals a full perpetual calendar with retrograde date, day, month, and moon phase. It is an impressive range of complications, presented with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s signature clarity and finesse.”

H. Moser & Cie.: Endeavour Centre Seconds Blue Lagoon
“There is something instantly striking about the Blue Lagoon dial,” says Laurent. “With no logo or indices, it is just pure colour, shifting between blue and green depending on the light. It is one of only 50 pieces made, and the 40 mm white gold case gives it a calm, balanced presence on the wrist. Inside is the HMC 200 automatic movement, offering a 70-hour power reserve and a clean, open view through the caseback. This is a watch that speaks through simplicity and strong design choices rather than extra features.”

Rolex: Day-Date Oysterquartz
“With its sharp lines and integrated bracelet, this 36 mm yellow gold Oysterquartz has a distinctive presence. The champagne dial pairs well with the warm tone of the case and includes a practical day and date display at 12 and 3 o’clock. Inside, the Calibre 5055 quartz movement delivers exceptional precision and reliability, while the sapphire crystal and robust Oyster case ensure durability and water resistance. Produced in limited numbers, this model marks a distinctive moment in Rolex’s history and shows how the brand approached quartz with the same attention to detail as its mechanical models.”
