Breguet Classique
"The Breguet Classique highlights the brand's traditional approach to fine watchmaking," Philip explains. "You see it in the beautifully executed guilloché dial, entirely handmade, with three distinct patterns that speak to Breguet's dedication to craftsmanship. Then there are the calendar and moon phase functions—elegant additions that underscore the balance between form and function. Even the rotor is off-centred and adorned with its own guilloché motif, visible through the open caseback. It's that meticulous attention to detail that defines the Classique. For collectors who value traditional horology, this piece offers exceptional value and enduring appeal."

Ulysse Nardin Astrolabium
"The Astrolabium is a showcase of horological ingenuity. The timepiece combines astronomical complications with detailed hand-engraving, demonstrating Ulysse Nardin's technical ambition in the 1980s. With a solar complication, perpetual calendar, and a hand-engraved movement, it exemplifies the fusion of mechanical complexity and artistic craftsmanship. This particular version is uniquely fitted with a gold bracelet, the only one known on the market, making it a brilliant testament to Ulysse Nardin's boundary-pushing spirit and the perfect choice for anyone drawn to astronomical complications."

Cartier Tonneau
"There's a distinct refinement to the Cartier Tonneau that I find remarkably compelling," Philip reflects. "Its elongated case in white gold gives it a confident, deliberate presence. Then you notice the discreet diamond setting, even on the crown, which brings light and texture to the design without excess. It's powered by a manual-wound movement, a nod to Cartier's long-standing tradition in watchmaking. And the rarity of this reference, produced in very limited numbers, deepens its appeal among Cartier's shaped timepieces."

Zenith El Primero
"Few watches carry their historical weight as effortlessly as the Zenith El Primero," he notes. "That iconic colour scheme, the quirky case shape – it all gives the piece this playful charm. But beneath that, you have one of the very first high-frequency automatic chronograph movements, a genuine milestone in watchmaking. Paired with a period-correct bracelet and excellent original condition, it's a vintage watch that is collectable and a joy to wear."
