Biver
At the heart of the Biver philosophy lies a tireless quest to reach the pinnacle of watchmaking artistry. The watchmakers breathe life into each timepiece by meticulously decorating and perfecting every millimeter, including the invisible parts. This attention to detail makes each creation unique.
The Watchmaking Artistry of Biver
The Biver brand is deeply rooted in Swiss watchmaking expertise. Jean-Claude Biver, with five decades of industry experience, works alongside his son Pierre, who brings a unique understanding of vintage watches. Together, they aim to create a legacy that can be passed down from generation to generation.
Every Biver watch is the result of this collaboration between father and son and the masters of watchmaking who continue to develop their craft every day.
“Everyone feels involved in our vision and our aspirations, and every project we undertake comes straight from the heart, from a gut feeling.”
Pierre Biver
The JC Biver brand stands for unwavering commitment to achieving the pinnacle of craftsmanship and quality. The goal is to explore uncharted territory, break down barriers, and venture into areas of watchmaking that others dare not venture into. As a testament to these high standards, Biver has introduced its own seal, which is stamped on every masterpiece in the letters “JCB” for Jean Claude Biver.
With the JCB seal, the Maison sets its own standards to guarantee the excellence of every JC Biver watch. These include steel parts, axles, and wheels as well as bridges and tourbillons. In addition, rigorous testing and the quality guarantee issued by the company ensure that the highest standards of watchmaking are met. All Biver watches undergo a final validation protocol that checks water resistance, accuracy, power reserve, and aesthetics.

Creating a lasting legacy
"It is the very essence of time that we strive to capture and embody in our creations."
Jean-Claude Biver
The History of Biver
In 2023, the father-son team opened a new chapter in the world of watchmaking by founding their own maison. 2024 marked the brand's debut with its first modular movement, the JCB-003, equipped with a micro-rotor and zero-reset function.
The company is based in a farmhouse dating from the 1890s in the village of Givrins near Lake Geneva, where watchmakers and decorators have been working on the brand's unique timepieces every day since its founding.
What Makes Biver Stand Out?
The creations are available from a limited number of retailers worldwide. These retailers are colleagues and friends of Jean-Claude Biver and proud partners of the brand. Bucherer is one of only two jewelers authorized to sell Biver's masterful pieces in Europe.
