Watches
TUDOR is a Swiss watch brand that offers mechanical timepieces with refined style, high reliability, and excellent value for money. The brand was registered in 1926 on behalf of Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex.Â
The aim of the Tudor brand was and is to produce watches that preserve the traditional Rolex quality philosophy, but at a more affordable price. Today, the TUDOR range includes iconic models such as the Black Bay, the Pelagos, and the Style. Since 2015, mechanical manufacture movements have also been offered. Since its founding, the watch brand has stood for precision and uncompromising quality, which is reflected in every detail.Â
TUDOR was founded in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex. His goal was to create watches that offered the same reliability and robustness as Rolex, but at a more affordable price point. As early as 1952, the Oyster Prince, the brand's first automatic watch, demonstrated how precision and durability could be combined in a single timepiece. Two years later, TUDOR introduced the Oyster Prince Submariner, a model designed specifically for use in the harshest conditions. This laid the foundation for the brand's reputation as a manufacturer of professional yet affordable tools for adventurers and divers. Â
In the 1970s, TUDOR came into the spotlight with the Oysterdate chronograph. The model, featuring the Valjoux 7734 caliber, stood out not only for its reliable technology, but also for its bold design with strong colors and striking details. It shaped an entire line of sporty chronographs and strengthened TUDOR's position in this segment in the long term.Â
Another important step was taken in 2015 with the introduction of the brand's first in-house movement. This was initially used in the North Flag and Pelagos models. The new calibers, certified by the COSC, offer a power reserve of 70 hours and are considered particularly robust—a reflection of the brand's growing independence and technical expertise.Â
TUDOR has also set standards in design. In 2010, the brand introduced high-quality textile straps, created in collaboration with a traditional French weaving mill. With this detail, TUDOR succeeded in combining functionality, comfort, and modern aesthetics in a new way—an example of how the brand continues to develop tradition while bringing fresh impetus to the art of watchmaking.Â
TUDOR stands for a clear identity and values that are understood worldwide: courage, passion, and the highest standards of quality. To make this attitude visible, the brand works with personalities who embody these qualities and make a strong statement in their respective fields. Â
David Beckham is not only a sports legend, but also a style icon. As a passionate watch connoisseur, he appreciates TUDOR's attention to detail and its history full of adventure, which immediately appealed to him. Â
Jay Chou has been shaping the Asian music scene for years with his distinctive mix of Western influences and traditional elements. His creative curiosity and desire to try new things are a perfect match for TUDOR's innovative spirit. Â
The All Blacks, New Zealand's famous rugby team, stand for discipline, teamwork, and unconditional commitment. Their powerful team spirit impressively reflects the energy and determination that TUDOR also stands for. Â
With these ambassadors, TUDOR demonstrates that the brand not only builds watches, but also embodies values—and that it appeals to people who are willing to push boundaries and dare to try new things.    Â
