Ressence reimagines the mechanical watch with a user-first philosophy. Founded in 2010 by industrial designer Benoît Mintiens, the brand combines Swiss-made calibres with proprietary innovations like the rotating ROCS display and oil-filled dials. A unique 3 dimensional in-house module for an intuitive reading of time. The main dial, as well as the auxiliary dials, revolve continuously, behaving like moons around a planet. This means that the face of the watch changes continuously - which is the essence of Time.

3.57ml to 3.75ml of oil for a never-before-seen visual effect allowing to touch time itself. From the patented ROCS display to the domed case architecture, every element of a Ressence watch is designed to enhance legibility. Thanks to its oil-filled chamber, legibility on select Ressence models goes even further, offering crystal-clear readability from any angle. Like words on paper.

An innovative caseback replacing the familiar crown for a more intuitive setup/winding process. Our watches are designed from the outside to the inside. Physical hands are replaced by graphical lines that reproduce the angles through which we are accustomed to reading the time.
