Biver Watches
Automatique
The Automatique collection is Biver's creative reinterpretation of a classic three-hand wristwatch. A hand-decorated caliber with automatic winding represents the brand's characteristic style.
About the Automatique Collection
Designed for everyday use, Biver's Automatique combines influences from the past with a forward-looking approach to design and finishing. Although it may look simple at first glance, its complexity only reveals itself over time.
The caliber of the Biver Automatique was developed specifically for the collection. It features a 22-karat gold micro-rotor, a power reserve of 65 hours, and a zero-reset mechanism for precise time setting, and is the result of a collaboration between JC Biver and Dubois Depraz.
“A watch that displays only the hours, minutes, and seconds is the epitome of our art. Reducing complexity to its purest form can be a masterpiece of perfection and discipline. If you want to play the piano, you must first master scales before you can learn jazz.”
Jean-Claude Biver
At first glance, this JC Biver watch strives for simple elegance. A smooth leather strap and a monochrome dial in rose or white gold, minimalist indices, and tapered hands take a back seat to the real highlight: a glass case that reveals a masterful movement.
The finish of the movement shines with the finest decorative engravings such as perlage and the artistic “Clou de Paris”. The rotor with the Biver logo is finished with a delicate guilloché pattern. The entire case is designed with an interplay of satin-finished and highly polished elements.
