The refined design of the Mido Commander features a polished case—in stainless steel or PVD-coated variants—framing sunburst or lined dials. Prominent date windows and a contrast of matte and glossy surfaces add visual depth. Originally a men’s automatic watch, the Commander now includes women’s models like the Commander Lady, offering a 72-hour power reserve. The visible rotor, decorated with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo, is revealed through the transparent case back. Water resistance up to 50 meters and a variety of styles—stainless steel, luxurious leather, or striking tones like midnight blue, anthracite gray, and champagne gold—make it suitable for daily wear with distinctive flair.
